In short: we have no customer accounts and no tracking. Your order details reach us only when you send them to us on WhatsApp or by email, and we use them only for your order.
Who we are
Riya's Cake Studio is a home bakery in Bengaluru North (560097), FSSAI Lic. No. 21225008000805. This policy covers this website, our app at riyas-cake-studio.pages.dev/app and orders you place with us. See also our Terms of Service.
What we collect
- Your order messages. When you order, the site prepares a message that you send yourself through WhatsApp or your email app. We receive what you send, such as your name, phone number, delivery address, date and cake details, and use it only to confirm, bake and deliver your order and to contact you about it.
- Things saved on your device. Your cart on the website, and your cart, order history, profile and saved addresses in the app, are kept in your browser's storage on your own device. They are not sent to us unless you include them in an order message.
- No accounts, payments or tracking. We don't run logins, take card payments online, or use analytics or advertising trackers.
Services we rely on
- WhatsApp and your email provider carry the messages you send us, under their own privacy policies.
- Cloudflare Pages hosts this site and keeps standard technical request logs.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers.
- YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you play one. See YouTube API Services below.
Our social media tools
We use the official Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and Google (YouTube) APIs only to publish our own posts and videos to our own accounts, to check our own recent posts so nothing is posted twice, and to send ourselves a daily summary. These tools do not collect, read or store information about you or anyone else.
YouTube API Services
Our video tool uses YouTube API Services to upload short promotional videos of our cakes to our own YouTube channel. By watching YouTube videos on our site or using our YouTube tools, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's use of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- What it accesses. Only our own channel: its name and ID, and the titles, descriptions and dates of our 10 most recent uploads. It never accesses information about viewers or other channels.
- How it's used and shared. Only to upload our videos and to make sure the same video isn't posted twice. We don't share it with anyone.
- What's stored. Nothing from YouTube except the sign-in (OAuth refresh) token, which we keep privately in our tool's settings. Channel and video details are read at the time of each upload and not saved.
- Cookies. Our tool doesn't place or read cookies. When you play a YouTube video embedded on our site, YouTube may place or read cookies or similar storage on your device under the Google Privacy Policy.
- Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page. When access is revoked, or on request (see Deleting your data), we delete the stored token within 7 days.
Sharing and keeping your details
We never sell or rent your details. We share them only when needed to deliver your order, or if the law requires it. Order messages stay in our WhatsApp chats and email as our order records until you ask us to delete them.
Deleting your data
To have your details deleted, send "Delete my data" to us on WhatsApp at +91 88671 55274 or by email to darshan.jps@gmail.com. We will delete your order messages and records within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
To remove what's stored on your device, clear this site's data in your browser settings or uninstall the app.
To remove our YouTube tool's access, revoke it on the Google security settings page or ask us as above. We delete the stored YouTube token within 7 days, and we keep no other YouTube data.
