Who we are
Riya's Cake Studio is a home bakery in Bengaluru North (560097), FSSAI Lic. No. 21225008000805. These terms cover this website, our app at riyas-cake-studio.pages.dev/app, our YouTube channel and orders you place with us. By using any of these, you agree to these terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
Browsing and ordering
- No accounts needed. You can browse the menu, prices and photos without signing in. The website and app just prepare a message for you to send yourself, on WhatsApp or by email; nothing is submitted to us until you send it.
- Prices. Prices shown are in Indian Rupees and are the current price for that size or flavour at the time you view the page. We try to keep them accurate, but they can change, and the price we confirm on WhatsApp or email is the one that applies to your order.
- Confirming an order. An order is placed only when you send us the message, and it's confirmed only when we reply confirming the date, delivery details and price. We may decline an order we can't fulfil, for example if the delivery date is sooner than our minimum lead time or the address is outside the Bengaluru North areas we deliver to.
- Payment. We don't take payments through this website or app. Payment is arranged directly with you when we confirm your order.
- Changes and cancellations. Since every cake is made fresh to order, please tell us about any change or cancellation as early as possible on WhatsApp or email. The closer this is to your delivery date, the less we may be able to change, as ingredients or baking may already be underway.
- Custom designs and photos. For custom or photo cakes, please make sure you have the right to use any image or design you send us. The finished cake may vary slightly from a reference photo, since each cake is handmade.
Content on this site
The text, photos, recipes and designs on this website, in the app and on our YouTube channel belong to Riya's Cake Studio, except photos marked "Representative photo", which are free stock images used to show a style of cake. Please don't copy or reuse our photos or designs commercially without asking us first.
YouTube API Services
We use YouTube API Services to upload short promotional videos of our cakes to our own channel, @RiyasCakeStudio, and videos from that channel are embedded on this site. By watching a YouTube video here or using our YouTube tools, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. What our tool accesses, stores and how to revoke its access is explained in our Privacy Policy.
No warranty and liability
We take care to describe our cakes accurately and to bake and pack them safely, and we hold a valid FSSAI licence. Please tell us about any allergy or dietary need before ordering. Beyond that, this website, app and our content are provided "as is", and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing here limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law.

We may update these terms as our business or tools change; we'll update this page and the date at the top when we do. Questions are welcome on WhatsApp or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
